What should I name an african grey parrot?

I have two african grey babies, I just got them and I have no I dea what to name them. One male, one female. If you have suggestions please let me know, I have ran out of names with my other animals, well atleast unique ones.

What should I name an african grey parrot?
I found a website that has suggestions for pet names that are pairs:


Bambi and Thumper, Bonny and Clyde, Hershey and Kisses, Lord and Lady, Rhythm and Blues, Search and Destroy...etc.

This might give you some ideas should you want to do a "paired names". It also has a search engine on it that will give you single name alternatives as well.


If you do a paired name theme, make sure the names sound different enough so that the birds can recognize their name from the other: "Zig and Zag" might not work well because they sound too much alike.

(Ma-co like in coke and too) I named my bird that its weird an unique. I got the name when my mom said that she wanted ''More coke too,'' and when said fast I got the name.

Those are just two names for birds that I have always loved. I once had a cockatiel named Moonshine (because of the little "moons" on his cheeks)... and I always liked the name Shadow for an African Grey (due to the grey color)...
