Why does Obama claim that his name is African Swahili ?

When it is Arabic? Baraka' (from which Barack came)means 'blessed' in Arabic. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama.





Can this man tell the truth? His past is scary when you look into it and study his life.

Actually, it is both. Much like my daughter's name is both French and Hebrew, since her name is a French derivative of what was originally a Hebrew name. And some Swahili words words are borrowed from Arabic. "Barack" is now a Swahili word meaning blessed, but it comes from the Arabic triliteral B-R-K (亘乇賰) which means blessed as well. So to answer your second question, yes, he can tell the truth.
